A guesthouse with a restaurant: Bouda pod Sněžkou
Bouda pod Sněžkou is a mountain chalet – a guesthouse with a restaurant 950 m above sea level. It is located in a romantic place, at the end of a picturesque valley "Obří Důl" on the hiking trail to the highest Czech mountain - Sněžka in the beautiful scenery of the National park of Krkonoše mountains. The trail from the town centre of Pec pod Sněžkou is 3 km long. For the last 2 km it leads along the stream "Úpa" (following the blue tourist signs - this part is very beautiful).
Bouda pod Sněžkou is not only a refreshment place pleasing customers with its specialities of home cooking. It is also an opportunity for accommodation in a place of natural beauty and peace. Its accommodation capacity is 27 beds – double rooms, 3- and 4- bed rooms. The rooms are modern and equipped with a bathroom and a TV set with satellite reception. The accommodation can include a breakfast and it is also possible to order well-priced full-board or half-board accommodation.
On top of that, "Bouda" also offers a sauna, a hot tub for 5 people, a table tennis, a table football and a lounge with a fireplace. We offer group discounts and by prior arrangement we can organize special activities – courses, trips, grilling, etc.
Because the chalet is situated in a national park, further from the "busy" center of the town, it is allowed to go there by car (the last 2 km) only with a special permission. Therefore, we have our parking place situated 2 km from our chalet at the end of the central car park for the chair lift to "Sněžka" mountain. Transport from the car park to the guesthouse is free on the day of arrival and departure.
In the winter time we can also arrange transport from SKI BUS - bus stop is on the same place as our parking.
